Tour Reviews
This tour was the highlight of our time in Jaipur. It is an early start, yes, but it was so special to see the day unfolding and Jaipur coming to life. It is more of a fun social and cultural tour, rather than a cycling or sightseeing tour. Playing badminton with the locals, laughter yoga in the park, the ceremony at the Hindu temple, markets, feeding the cows, drinking lassi’s and tasting some local foods– they were all really fun activities. The time just flew. The equipment was in good order, and the ride was conducted in a safe manner, even when there was a bit more traffice about.More
This bike tour is not a standard one. It’s so much more!! We didn’t just walk by nice places, it was a highlight of our travel. The guide was so enthusiastic and took the whole group in his enthusiasm!! It felt a bit like we were part of the community. We did so much, I’ll try to get some highlights. We cycled to the Albert museum and we played badminton on the road (which is closed for traffic in the morning) in front of it, we had the best local tea, street food, we went to a temple ceremony for Lord Krishna and laughing yoga in the park with locals.More
I hadn’t riden a bicycle in years. Yet we were excited by this tour and wanted to go for it. It was chilly at 6.30am on 1 Mar2020 at Jaipur. That day it was only the 3 of us- me , my husband and my daughter with our energetic and cheerful guide, Umesh. He first made us comfortable on our bikes and then we started. The next 3 hours were simply toooo good. Travelling in the by lanes, stopping for a hot tea and tasting some scrumptious street food was awesome.More
This was easily my favourite experience during our Rajasthan travels!
When I first got to Jaipur and experienced the chaotic roads, I questioned whether cycling here was going to be a good idea… but the tour is managed so well, and it all takes places in the morning before the shops open at 11, meaning riding through the city is very pleasant.More
I have not rode a bike in over three years and it was not a lot. This experience starts very early in the morning, before the sun and the traffic. Our guide was amazing and so energetic that he had enough energy to keep it fun through the whole morning. We went to a temple ceremony as well as laughing yoga, which I enjoyed being immersed in their culture. We went through a market and got great street food that was very hot when served. As the morning went on there was more and more traffic to maneuver through and it was fun to be in that atmosphere. I greatly enjoyed this company for a bike tour and would do it again!More
We’ve done many a city bike tour and this is by far the best – it immerses you in aspects of Jaipur you’d never otherwise see – sunrise across the Pink City is astonishingly beautiful; joining a badminton game in front of the Albert Hall Museum; visiting the flower market; drinking lassi & masala chai at street stalls; laughing within a circle of locals at Laughing Yoga; visit to the Temple, the marble sculptors, painters and feeding the holy cows. All lead by a charming, smiling ultra marathon runner who brought his sense of joy and fun into a packed 3 hour tour.More
