Jaipur Cycle Tour
Pedal to Heritage (Morning Cycle Tour) is one of our flagship activities in Jaipur. It is an interesting way to explore the ancient culture and architecture of Jaipur on a bike.
We start our cycle tour from the walled city, traditional known as “Parkota” in the local language. We will gaze at the main roads with rows of vibrant pink-terracotta buildings. The whole ambience seems so soothing and welcoming to the eye. Moreover, the slow ride allows you to appreciate its architectural style- if you have an eye for details.
Biking and unravelling the secrets that this historic mystic city beholds. It’s a luxury you can experience only during your morning Jaipur cycle tour. Later the place will be jam-packed with the bustling vehicle when the city awakes.
Leisurely Cycling In Jaipur against the calm, pink buildings, With Our proficient lead explorer who will introduce you to the various delicacies and wonders of the walled city, and try to resolve your queries on Culture, Heritage, Architecture, religion, Cuisine and daily lifestyle of “Jaipurites” during this 3 hours of Jaipur Cycle Tour.
Theme: Your bicycle tour is designed to give you a traditional perspective of how morning time develops in Jaipur’s beautiful and historic city.
Things To Do during Jaipur Cycle Tour
For food lovers: Experience Jaipur’s Best food Joints like a local, ride your bike to some of the most sought-after and highly acclaimed food joints. The food outlets are prime. And are famous for their inherent art of preparing delicacies. They are an account of the rich food culture in the Pink City. Above all, this provides you with the much-required energy for the morning bicycle tour of the pink city.
For the wanderlust: Hop on a bike and manoeuvre the streets like a Jaipurite through the old Havelis (Private Mansions) and sacred Temples within the streets of the walled city of Jaipur. Participate in the morning prayers with the devotees in the palace temples.
A unique experience: An adventurous Sightseeing of Jaipur on a bicycle where you discover what one might miss out on while in the car. We get a chance to start the day like a Jaipurite does every morning.
Detailed Itinerary
Meeting Point
Le Tour De India
We begin our Jaipur Bike tour from “Le Tour De India” (Centrally Located For Google location – https://goo.gl/maps/ZhAz1Juqymx8h4xA8). Here you are introduced with our Lead explorers and bikes, with a short briefing about the tour, the route, dos and don’ts.
Enter the walled city
We enter the Historical walled city painted in pink which explains the sobriquet “Pink City”. The Bicycle Tour of Jaipur is a cultural connection combined with rich architecture, top food joints of Jaipur and friendly people, as we ride through narrow streets of the city passing through vintage Havelis, and several other architectural marvels meeting and greeting the locals here we reach to Sahoo Chai wala whose family has been preparing traditional Indian tea (called Chai) for the last 3 generations. The tea here is refreshing as well as very filling due to their specific secret recipe of slow boiling milk on the traditional charcoal stove, which gives it a unique taste. Also, enjoy seeing the local community involved in morning gossip and conversation.
Aarti at the Palace Temple
The Govind Dev Ji Temple
We will then head to Govind Dev Ji temple dedicated to the Indian Godhead Lord Krishna. Getting close to the temple, we manoeuvre bikes through the pedestrians rushing to attend the grand ceremony. As you enter the grand temple of Govind Dev Ji you can feel an uplifting spiritual experience that looks so welcoming in the morning. A good community of devotees is busy preparing for the traditional Aarti (vesper service and devotional hymns). As the main deity’s curtains are about to open the people start ringing the traditional humongous bells. Feel the depth of the sound emanating from the bells and striking a chord with your heart. The Aarti or main worship is equally exhilarating and charming. One just gets mesmerized by the song when hundreds of devotees sing at the same time with lighted wicks before the sacred idol of Lord Krishna.
LifeStyle of 'Jaipurite'
We will then take a walk through the public park meeting and interacting with the locals and we do get a chance to participate in laughing yoga with people, We further enter the biggest vegetable and flower market of Jaipur. It is a wholesale market where you can see a number of traders busy negotiating, conversing with the merchants, and ladies in their colourful attire carrying huge sacks of vegetables on their heads and the traditional Indian pushcarts. At the leisurely speed of the cycle, the whole scene reminds you of those old times merchant markets in the children’s stories.
Secret Tunnel
Somewhere in this line, there is a narrow lane that could be called a secret way to the main road on the other side. This could also be termed as a hidden tunnel deliberately planned by the far-sighted kings of Jaipur.
The tunnel ends at the other side and you find yourself sniffing the air full of freshly fried fritters at the famous Jagannath Pakori wala. Pakori is the Indian fritter deep fried in the oil and very crispy when you eat. It is among the most famous fritter shops in India and you can see the workers frying the fritters in a huge traditional charcoal stove. We make a brief stop at a very popular tea seller’s rooftop settlement above a sweet shop. With the best Fritters (Pakoras) in the town, we enjoy tea on a rooftop and admire the most planned old city in India.
Ride Through The Corridors
The best part of this Guided bicycle tour comes when we ride in the historical spices and sweets market corridors.
Although the shops are shut in the spices market we get the strong aroma passing the closed shutters.
As we enter God’s own street, another heritage market of India where one can still feel the lingering aura of heritage even amidst the hustle and bustle of the street. The rhythmic sounds of hammers and tools present a bit loud yet soothing music. The artisans are busy sculpting the images of Hindu Deities. The street presents a fine blend of spirituality and art.
Lassi Wala
The food tour of Jaipur is not complete if we do not stop at a famous Lassi Wala (churned yoghurt shakes). The Lassi outlet was built in the independence era just outside the walled city. We conclude our bike tour with a glass of Lassi.
As this lovely bicycle safari ends here we part ways with a souvenir for you to show your friends back home when you share your Jaipur memoirs.

This bike tour was one of the highlights of my Jaipur visit. From feeding cows, to laughing yoga, trying the chai, singing and dancing with the locals, seeing monkeys, and so much more. I didn’t think I’d love the bike ride, but it was so Fun. Thank you so much for a fun experience.
What an inspiring morning! Archit was a fantastic guide through what was the most un-touristy tourist experience I have had in maybe a couple decades. We fed the urban cows. We danced, chanted and did yoga with the locals. We stopped for delicious street food and experienced the morning market. Oh and we rode our bikes thorough the morning rush hour and somehow it felt safe! All in all an authentic experience that I would highly recommend.More
This tour was excellent and our tour guide Archi was super. He was so enthusiastic about showing us his city. We went to so many interesting places that we would never have found ourselves walking around. We visited a wholesale vegetable and flower market, did a different morning yoga which was great fun and visited a temple for morning prayer. We stopped along the way for morning refreshments. All in all I would wholeheartedly recommend this tour.More
What a gem of an experience riding through the old town of Jaipur, experiencing life as a local. Marsala tea, chanting of the Krishna followers, laughing yoga, Hindu temple during morning prayers. A walk through the market and Lassi yoghurt drink.
We were guided by Archit and his team and had an amazing time.More
Definitely worth getting up at 5am for! It is fantastic to see another side of Jaipur and feel it wake up! It made me feel less like a tourist, getting to know more of the local side, especially with the Radhe Radhe side of it! Our main guide, Kush, was inerringly enthusiastic, knowledgeable and competent, and the tour would have not been the same without him! We got some great photos too!More
Best tour of my whole India trip! It was a lovely seeing the city wake up and getting a taste of the local life – from the breakfast foods to the market to participating in morning yoga in the park. The guides are fantastic and took great photos for me as well, which was amazing because it’s hard to get photos as a solo traveler! Thank you so much!More
I spent two weeks in India and Nepal and this was by far one of the highlights, they take you all over show you all the best sights and give you some laughs along the way, absolutely recommended! 10/10More
Super fun bike ride led by a local guide. It was an early start, but it was well worth it. Saw and did a lot of fun things that I would not have found otherwise, combined with local snacks along the way! Highly recommended!More
Amazing bike tour that allows you to see the city wake up. We got a unique perspective of daily life and culture, including a quick yoga session, chanting and morning satsang, followed by delicious street food treats.More
The bike ride was the best thing we have done in India. There were so many activities and street food opportunities throughout. All of the guides were extremely knowledgeable and informative and always made sure our safety was first priority. Highly recommend this activity for anyone coming to Jaipur!More
Excellent early morning bike tour in Jaipur. We enjoyed cycling in the quiet morning streets. We visited a lot of places and took part in some early morning laughing yoga. We had masala tea, sweets, samosas, and lassi along the way too. All organised and led by two amazing local guides! Definitely recommend this tour.More
Need this as part of a group tour and had a brilliant experience would 100% recommend. Very safe, very informative and great fun! 🙂 🙂More
Great tour around Jaipur that blends cultural experiences with culinary delights. Archie our tour guide was super knowledgable and kept us very safeMore
Brilliant tour! Our guide was so enthusiastic and so knowledgable. It was the “good the bad and the ugly” tour with no topic off limits and discussed openly and honestly. Well supported whilst cycling to feel safe. Easy cycling and definitely a culture tour as much as a cycling tour. Well thought out and organised and caters well for all abilities. Would recommend to anyone, if you are nervous just go for it they will look after you!More
This was one of the highlights of my Golden Triangle Trip! You get to experience Jaipur wake up and share morning activities with the locals like a visit to a temple and laughter yoga, which leave you really happy. The chai and street food were delicious too. The guide loves what he does and makes you feel safe and welcome.More
Began early feeding grass to the street cows for good fortune and then set off round the streets and alleyways. We stopped at intervals for great roadside indian snacks including amazing tea, yogurt , fruit. sweets and other tasty bites. We stopped too to join in with locals for stretching and laughing exercises which was awesome. We sang Hare Krishna in the street before attending, briefly, a Hindu temple. We then zigzaged our way back to complete what was, quite simply, an amazing experience.More
This tour was fantastic! Our guide (forget his name) was so enthusiastic and passionate about showing us Jaipur in the early morning.
It was so much more than “just” a cycle tour as we had stops for incredible food as well as joined a laughing yoga session in a park, visited a temple, and joined a group of locals to sing and dance, among other activities.
I believe this tour will be one of the highlights of my trip to India. Highly recommended.More
The guide has the most amazing energy! Absolutely loved it and highly recommend 🙂 thank you for the incredible rideMore
Such a fantastic tour. Our guide Kush was amazing – it gave us a completely different perspective of Jaipur and was a fantastic was to start the day.More
The tour was amazing. Gave a authentic local experience. Tried the best lassi on the tour. Laughing yoga was fun and cheerful. The experience was all thanks to the guys that were with us Kush and the others. Kush was bubbly and friendly. Gave good insight and knowledge into what he was showing us. Took so many photos and made lots of memories.
Thoroughly enjoyed the 3 Hour Cycle Tour. Would recommend and do it again!More
What an amazing experience. We were a bit scared of a bike tour in the crazy tragic of Jaipur. But we had no reason to. Our lovely guide took so good care of us, good bikes and safe tour. We were enchanted by the colors, flavors, kind and friendly locals. Got a true feeling what it’s like to wake up in Jaipur and how to get that positive energy. Loved it!More
This was an excellent morning, early start but bikes were great and the monuments terrific – chai break was welcome too! Great fun – not to be missedMore
The tour guide archie was so lovely and full of energy. He took us to some great places, we particularly enjoyed feeding the cows at the beginning for good karma, the laughing yoga and the Hindu temple. It was very authentic. We appreciated the early start which made such a difference as it gets so busy very quickly. We enjoyed the samosas at the end of the tour too, the masala chai and the lassi was delicious.More
We went on the bike tour a couple of mornings ago during a gadventures group trip and it was one of the best experiences I had here. Riding the streets of Jaipur as the locals are waking up and starting the day was magical. We meditated together, saw Hindus worshipping at a local Temple (and joined in!) And walked around a local flower market. Absolutely would recommend to everyone. Bikes were in good condition and it wasn’t too hard to do even in the Indian monsoon heat.More
It seemed like madness getting up so early but SO worth it! Excellent guides, well maintained bikes and a brilliant, uplifting experience. Very highly recommended.More
Kush our guide was brilliant. For an early start he was bright and breezy and full of enthusiasm. Although the roads are a little hairy at times we felt well looked after and it was relatively quite as we were so early. The activities along the way were fantastic and our group loved them…especially the laughing yoga with the locals. Don’t miss this tour!!More
We were only in Jaipur for a few days and wanted a tour that would give us the highlights of the city and a taste of real Indian culture. This tour did that and more! We enjoyed the tour and the activities even more than we expected and the guide was really wonderful. They fitted us in last minute and as we were only two, they arranged a taxi for us and our own tour, joining up with others when appropriate. We really enjoyed this and would do it again- a great way to see the city!More
Such a thrilling experience where you get to see behind the scenes of the real Jaipur. Attentive and informative guides, great stop off points and local interactions. It is a ‘must do’ activity!More
Really enjoyed the tour. It gave a very local perspective of Jaipur and it was a great way of seeing the city.More
It was an amazing tour! You really get to experience the local life.
The laughing Yoga and the lassi were so good
Thank you so much 🙂More
This experience was so full of goodness that it’s difficult to put into words. The bikes are not super high end, but they are good and had gears. My bike was a trek, and I’m tall, so I require a tall bike. It fit me great! We started the tour feeding cows for good karma. Then we went to have masala chai, the best I’ve had in India! Singing Hare Krishna on a karaoke machine, dancing and clapping, practicing laughing yoga, visiting the old flower and veggie market, posing in front of a museum for a cool picture , visiting an old abandoned house to see how people live, attending a Hindu ceremony, eating street breakfast food, and drinking lassi were all highlights for me. Not to mention seeing the pink city market place when it’s quiet! Archie was a great guide, and we always felt safe with two other people making sure we were watched, protected and not driving ourselves into trouble. Never mind having to get up early to do it. If you don’t do this, you’re missing out on a real visit to Jaipur!More
Amazing trip with Archie!! He gave us a jam packed tour of Jaipur with many personal touches. It felt very authentic and gave us experiences we wouldn’t have gotten without a guide. One of my highlights of my two weeks in India and nepalMore
A fun behind the scenes look at Jaipur, with multiple stops at various vendors and worship sites before the streets get crowded.More
This was such a good wake up bit of exercise and such a worthwhile tour to do. The tour was run so well with 4 riders accompanying us and with one acting as a guide. All spoke English really well. For those that didn’t fancy the bike riding they could follow in a tuktuk. What was nice about going on bike was you got to see things at street level. We visited an old haveli, temple, market, drank chai and more. At no point did I feel unsafe riding a bike on the roads of Jaipur (London is far worse). If you want to do something intrepid, see the culture close up this is the tour for you. Thanks Tour de India for finishing my time off in Jaipur!More
Amazing cultural experience, not at all what I was expecting but it was great to see the city from a locals point of view.More
Bike ride was fantastic round the city would highly recommend see alot from temple to laughing yoga and marketsMore

I just got back from a two week trip around India and this bike tour was my top favorite activity from the whole trip. This tour is really a cultural experience more than a bike tour. We tried amazing food, fed cows for good karma, did laughing yoga with the community, sang and danced, went to a Hindu service, and got to experience Jaipur waking up with the locals. My number one highlight for sure- not to be missed! Do this tour!More
This was a brilliant experience, very well structured and organised. I especially enjoyed the food and drink including the Jalebi and visiting the vegetable market.More
Nice ride early morning with several stops where you discover the awakening of the people, the city and typical morningrituals. Nice guides and correct bikes!
Top!!More
Starting that early in the morning wasn’t easy, but it turned out to be really worthwile. Riding the bike in Jaipur brings you very close to the local people. The guides bring you in touch with a colourful veg and flowermarket, a temple, a yoga session in the park, and they bring your attention to loads of details of the local life, religion and way of living.More
The tour guides were amazing, full of historical and cultural fact, extremely friendly full of smiles and jokes, and it was an all around fun experience!More
We started the tour and this guy, Archite was a big nuisance. He was the owner of the company and to our surprise what a poor delivery. When we asked few question he completely lost is track and started taking something else. The tour claimed to witness houses, food sampling and yoga but we missed the yoga part. When asked Archite said our driver is calling him. Our only advise to this gentlemen is learn and respect our own business. We did similar tour in Delhi and it was an excellent one.More
Archie the guide was amazing! Very local experiences with some exercices and food tasting! I would recommend to everyone.More
Great way to start your day, can be quite loud and a bit overwhelming at times. But is a must do for Jaipur!More
A nice early start to the day. We saw most things on the itinerary list and also some different things.
A tuktuk was arranged by the team to pick us up and drop us back off (we had to pay though) which is a blessing at 5am! It was meant to start at 6 but was altered the night before.
We didn’t get to see the Isarlat Sargasooli, Khajane Walon Ka Rasta but we did dance with Hare Krishnas near the Palace, did Laughing Yoga, and went into an old princely home with a courtyard!
We didn’t really learn too much about the city or its architecture which is fine as only so much can be said or heard as a group of you roll around the city on bikes.
A fun morning, and you’re probably back in time to have the last sitting of breakfast at the hostel/hotel 🙂
The traffic isn’t bad during the times that you ride, so there’s no need to worry about traffic/pollution.More
Absolutely fantastic, really good fun and well worth the early star. thoroughly recommend these guys.More
This bike ride was a highlight of my whole India experience. It was the perfect way to see the architecture of the beautiful pink city, while also getting to experience life as if you were a local. We had such an amazing time – entirely recommend to anyone visiting Jaipur! Khush and Johri were our guides and they were tremendous. Each was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. They biked us to such interesting places and we saw the Pink City at its calmest and as it awoke for the day. They let us sample Masala Chai, fresh melon from the morning market, Jaipur breakfast specialties, Lassi (yogurt drink to settle your stomach for the day). They took us through morning rituals, including a Hindu holy place, and taught us about Jaipur customs. The bikes were in great condition and a helmet was provided.
It was our favorite activity in India – a real exposure to the people and culture in a fun way. You won’t regret it!!More

If you want to see, Jaipur, the way, most others don’t, hop on the bike and take this adventure with Umesh. I fed the cows, chanted in the park, walks through less traveled local areas, and got photos in the early morning in front of spectacular monuments that are generally crowded with people. You also get to taste yummy food and get a sense of what it’s like to drive without that many cars in India! I highly recommend it and Umesh is amazing!More

This was well worth getting up early for.. the cycling was easy on quiet early morning roads… with plenty of stops from feeding the cows, street chai in a ceramic cup, to laughter yoga, motivational temple service plus street food and finishing off with the best Lassi!
The streets were empty so you got to see the sights on your own!
Our guide was amazing and kept us to the required timetable to ensure we saw everything and still had time to visit a bridal group and meet the whole family!
Cycling will suit anyone and the sites, sounds and smells of the trip were one of my favourite of my 2 week visit to India!
So book and set your alarm as it is well worth it!More

Unbelievable way to see the city of Jaipur as it wakes up. We tried some snacks and met some amazing local people including coming across a wedding. Also I was nervous about the cycling as I’m not great on a bike and I felt very safe at all times so don’t let that put you off. The roads aren’t busy and if they are you dismount Nd walk with the traffic stopped. 10/10More

We, this is me and my 4 children aged 7, 10, 11 and 13, had the best morning in India. Thanks to Umesh, his knowledge and upbeat energy we had the most exhilarating, informative and unique experience. It was so worth it getting up before sunrise and being able to cycle through a city starting to wake up, meeting, greeting and interacting with all the locals, as if we had always lived there. We completely felt part of the community. The children asked me to specially mention, how thrilled they were about the mountain bikes and the tandem bike they got to ride.
The communication during the booking (as I had a few questions concerning the children) was a joy and always so prompt, thank you Kushar!More
I absolutely loved this tour! A great way to learn more about Jaipur and see beautiful places you would otherwise probably miss even as an experienced traveller. I very much enjoyed the morning ride on a bike, it was something completely different to almost everything else I did during my two weeks in India.
The highlight for me was a visit to a hindu temple during a ceremony. Felt very welcome throughout the whole time. And also, just riding a bike through the city in the morning as it is waking up was awesome 🙂
By the way, we also had some amazing food along the way and probably the best Lassi I tried in India.
Special mention to our guide (I do not remember the name sadly.. 🙁 ) who was great as well, a very positive person, always smiling and having fun, kept an eye on everyone during the whole time and made sure we all had an amazing morning.More
Our favourite thing to do in Jaipur especially laughing yoga , the temple, flower market and much much more , also best food stopsMore
Great tour for discovering Jaipur in the calm morning, with many stops off bike to discover markets, morning pray, laugh yoga, snacks and get a taste of how locals live in the pink city. Umish was a very fun and knowledgeable guide.
Highly recommend this tour if you are in Jaipur!More
Without a doubt my highlight of Jaipur. Possibly of even my whole vacation to India. To call this just a morning cycle tour is massively understated. This tour shows emerses you in everything to do with Indian life. We had a few small snacks along the way with early morning masala chai being a delight as the weather was so cold. We worked our way through the bustling morning markets, laughing our heads off in the park to the morning laughing practices, singing and dancing with the locals in the hindu temple, feeding the cows. Let alone cycling around early door having the city all to yourself, that alone is worth getting up for. By 9am the streets are already busy. If your thinking of booking this tour book it! You won’t regret it.More
The early start before sunrise was quickly forgotten once we hit the deserted streets of Jaipur and made our way through the beautiful Pink City, stopping off for fresh made Chai masala from a street vendor and emersing us in the clamour of the morning fruit and vegetable market as the locals did their morning trading. Umesh and his team were full of enthusiasm and knowledge of the area and took us to some amazing spots which we would never have experienced without them – my favourite being the morning ceremony at a Hindu temple with singing and dancing, time to leave your western primness behind and join in with the locals boundless spiritual energy! I cannot reccomend this company enough for anyone looking to do something abit different and really get out of the usual touristy guided tours. Great value for money too with several stop offs for lassi and street food and unforgettable experiences!More
We had a wonderful tour with Omesh & his assistant. Fantastic way to immerse yourself in the Jaipur culture before the city awakes. We laughed, we danced and enjoyed the tour immensely. A must do tour when in Jaipur!More
This tour was one of the best experiences in India to date. We spent 3 hour’s cycling through the empty morning streets of Jaipur, observing the sights & seeing how the locals live & eat, with great recommendations & tastes of street food around the city.
Our tour guide, Umesh made the tour so fun & gave us great knowledge of the local people. A must do in Jaipur!More
If you felt a bit sleepy and lethargic at the start of this early morning tour, you definitely won’t after! 3 hours whizzed by as we experienced so many cultural, food and unexpected experiences. The tour is a non-stop adventure around Jaipur capturing local food markets, prayer ceremonies, dancing, street food stops, it’s got everything. There was a moment as we jumped back onto our bikes to head to the next stop where I felt genuinely joyous to be alive, and that’s a very rare thing!More
Our guide, Umesh, told us this would be the best thing we did on our trip (seems to be a standard line!) – I was sceptical at first but have to concede that it was definitely the most fun and certainly memorable! Come with energy, an open mind and an empty stomach and you won’t be disappointed. Umesh knows his stuff, engages with everyone and makes sure you have a good – and safe – time. Highly recommended.More
The morning cycle tour was the highlight of our Golden Triangle trip. We got to see the busy city of Jaipur in the early hours when the streets were quiet, we had many experiences that generally tourists wouldn’t have (the surprises were what made the tour so fun) and we also got to try lots of delicious delicacies. The tour guide was fun and energetic – would absolutely recommend!More
When Umesh told us in the morning of the tour that this was going to be the highlight for of our India trip we were laughing. Wow, was he right!!

It was one of the best things I did in India. Active, exhilarating, educational and a gastronomic experience wrapped into one! Umesh was our main person and together with a co-guide he’s made this entire ride unforgettable with his genuine love for the job and pride for his beautiful country and culture. The morning bike ride through Jaipur was an absolute highlight! Our guides Khush and Archit were absolutely amazing; so motivated, nice, caring, informative and fun! The tour gives you a real insight of a local in Jaipur and you get to see places you would not be able to see otherwise. We stopped at a random street to celebrate a locals birthday (even got some birthday cake), got to taste some delicious Chai and Lassi, witnessed a morning praying ceremony, walked through a market and had some samples there and so much more! If you are up for acrazy morning and open to experience something new, you cannot miss this!More
A very special early morning bike ride around Jaipur. My guide Umesh showed me some gems of the city including its beautiful people. Great food, nice cycle and a little bit of spirituality thrown in. All over a really fun tour and would highly recommend it.More

This was one of the highlights of my India trip. Make sure to book this tour with Umesh Gautam. This tour is not only bicycle ride. It’s also cultural. You see so many interesting places while you are riding the bike. This is a perfect time to start this tour before the traffic starts. Four of my friends took this tour, they loved it so much and persuaded me to take the tour and it was so worth it.More
This was really nice, we saw so many places of Jaipur you would normally don’t see. Contact with the local people, we tried food and drinks and biking in Jaipur is not so difficult as you would expect.More
What a great way to spend a morning! Our group consisted of 2 older adults, 2 twenty somethings and 2 teens. We met early in the morning as the sun was just starting to rise. We started our day feeding the cows and proceeded to visit local coppersmiths, marble workers, 4th gen Chai and lassie vendors and sampled other street foods. We participated in an impromptu street dance with some hari krishnas, attended a buddist prayer service at a temple, visited the palace of the wind and explored the markets. What a great ride. Our guides were so personable and knowledgeable. It was a blast.More
Best part of our two week trip to India!! MUST NOT MISS! Experienced so many different facets of life in Jaipur in a way otherwise not possible. So many fun surprises on the bike! Our guide was energetic and brought a less experienced rider on a tandem with him and brought my grandma along in a bike rickshaw! A great adventure accessible to all! 10/10!!!More
Got to travel down small lanes & localities that you might miss. Laughing yoga was an experience! Loved the visit to Hindu temple during devotions / prayers. Tour included street snacks / chai / lassi.

Umesh was fantastic showing us around a cray city. Thank you. I would highly recommend this tour. Thank you for showing us Jaipur while enjoying some fun fitness.More
Incredible experience. Cycling through the streets of Jaipur in the morning darkness as locals were setting up for the day was magical. From feeding the cows, drinking road side tea, dancing with Hare Krishnas, attending a religious ceremony, exercising in the park with the old men, eating delicious food and Lassi from other stalls, wandering the food markets to watching men make copper pots, this was the highlight of my India trip. A must do for those wanting to experience real India and it’s people.More
I loved all of it. Seeing Jaipur before it gets busy, experiencing the fruit, veg and flower market, feeding a cow and having some street food I would have never tried on my own would be my highlightsMore
Amazing experience – so much more than just a cycle tour. You get immersed into a cultural morning in Jaipur, experiencing cultural and religious events, whilst learning about the history of Jaipur and tasting some beautiful foods. A MUST if you are in Jaipur. If you don’t cycle, there is options to still join.More
o all the architects out there (and also the artists, the city-lovers, the historians, the storytellers, creators and makers of all kinds) I have a strong feeling that you will love Archit’s bicycle tour in Jaipur as much as I did. Designed to showcase a typical morning in the life of a local, you will: feed the (holy) cows, visit a haveli, drink chai before sunrise, cycle past civic architecture, walk through markets, dance, join a laughing yoga session, visit a temple, eat street food, and more, all while Archit colours each experience with folk stories and historic detail. At the end of the three hour tour, I walked away buzzing with a sense for Jaipur: it’s history, values and people. I wish there was a tour like this in every city across India. Let me also add that no one will try to sell you anything; you will be in the hands of a true guide. Enjoy!More
Great guides and a packed tour. We were a bit faster, so extra were added in the tour. It isn’t tiring at all with all the stops and the food is obviously great.More
Easily one of the most memorable and enjoyable experiences that I had the pleasure of joining whilst in India. The sunrise didn’t happen for an hour and we manage to see the sights without being interrupted by the chaos of Jaipur traffic.More

This tour of Jaipur by bike is the absolute best way to see and learn about the rich history of this city called “the Paris of India”. You’ll see both the main attractions of the city, as well as off-the-beaten-path locations like local open air markets, temples, metal shops, confectionaries, and food stalls. Feed a cow and create good karma! The guide was knowledgeable, organized and beloved by the locals. You’ll be treated like an old friend and experience the area like only a lucky few can. I strongly recommend this tour!More
This was a fast paced fun way to experience Jaipur in the early morning. It gave a good insight into people, places, Hindu worship, and some street food. I really enjoyed the whole experience.More
I am so grateful that my husband and I chose to spend our last morning in Jaipur experiencing this stunning city in a brand new way, as only locals could. The tour guides truly thought of everything – from the full range of bikes for people of all sizes (including one that fit my 6’6″ husband and one that fit my 5’0″ frame) to the extra-large water bottles pre-fitted into the bike holders. Starting before the sun rose, we were able to see the local shops and artisans as they first opened for the day, and get our bearings in the Jaipur city traffic before it got too worrisome. I couldn’t have anticipated all of the amazing things that we got to experience or the delicious, freshly-made foods that we were able to enjoy. A complete ten out of ten.More
We had a fantastic experience as it was one of our highlights in North India! We loved all the activities and got a brief expression how people start into an early morning. We would recommend this excursion to everyone who wants to have an authentic food and cultural experience. Last but not least, our guide Umesh was really passionate and full of energy to make the best experience happen! Thanks!More
Although you have to get up quite early to join the cycling tour from Tour de India, you will not be disappointed. You get to see and learn interesting things about Jaipur. While on the bike, the guides make sure you’re always safe and by the end of the cycling tour you’ll also have a better understanding of the seemingly chaotic Indian traffic, which has a system of its own. More

The tour itself is flawless. It seems like the whole of Jaipur love the man, the myth, the legend that is Umesh and to be honest I don’t blame them. An experience for life to submerg the real life in Jaipur. Our guide Archt had a lot of knowledge about the culture, religion a the buildings. Very early in the morning, it was still dark and “quiet” we fed cows, drove through the streets tourists never come, did a laugh yoga in the park which was really fun and attent a ceremony in the temple. The positive energy and devotion of the people touched our hearts. We ate street food, had fun and we lacked eyes and ears. We also met Umesh, the other tourleader, also a great guy!More

You also get a bonus of trying some street food.More

My wife is not a super confident cyclist, but she managed well among the city traffic. I’d say anyone that knows how to ride a bike can do this tour. More
The best part about the tour was talk and the walk in the morning. The history shared was fascinating. I appreciate the extra mile Umesh ji took to accommodate us. Bhagwanji went extra mile in taking care of our kids. Would recommend this experience with them any time.More

Omesh was a great guide! Make sure to get up a little early as some of the usual routes are closed. We started around 7 am and got caught in some bad traffic at the end around 10:30. Budget about 4 hours from start to finish for this bike ride. The ride up to the fort is not for the faint of heart but the helper was amazing and stayed with our bikes while we walked up. Great food stops but bring hand sanitizer! Omesh is very knowledgeable and flexible, we appreciated his and the second guide’s help in the streets of Jaipur!More

Jaipur bike tour started at 5.45 am in cold November. Our guide Umesh was ready with bikes perfect for us.
After a little warm up we started our tour from the Ajmeri Gate, into the market and into the various galis. Every gali has a specialty and there is no better way to experience this than the cycling tour. Gheewala, Achariwala, Jewellers and marble statue makers are at work in these galis. The sculptures at marble workshops – mindblowing.More
Umesh Gautam was my guide. He was excellent! He was full of so much information. He encouraged us to ask questions. Highly recommend this tour! He told me it would be the best part of my two day visit to Jaipur. He was right! I loved biking though the narrow lanes and trying the food and chai. He lead the way, it was just me and one other person.More

Omesh was such a great host! Not only did we get to experience a beautiful sunrise at the top of the fort but also had the pleasure of enjoying local delicacies as well.
Must recommended for people looking for new experiences in Jaipur. We were a group of girls, as let’s just say I’m so impressed. Well received, guided and patiently tolerated as we took our time to get over our fears of cycling after ages.More
This tour was the highlight of our time in Jaipur. It is an early start, yes, but it was so special to see the day unfolding and Jaipur coming to life. It is more of a fun social and cultural tour, rather than a cycling or sightseeing tour. Playing badminton with the locals, laughter yoga in the park, the ceremony at the Hindu temple, markets, feeding the cows, drinking lassi’s and tasting some local foods– they were all really fun activities. The time just flew. The equipment was in good order, and the ride was conducted in a safe manner, even when there was a bit more traffice about.More
This bike tour is not a standard one. It’s so much more!! We didn’t just walk by nice places, it was a highlight of our travel. The guide was so enthusiastic and took the whole group in his enthusiasm!! It felt a bit like we were part of the community. We did so much, I’ll try to get some highlights. We cycled to the Albert museum and we played badminton on the road (which is closed for traffic in the morning) in front of it, we had the best local tea, street food, we went to a temple ceremony for Lord Krishna and laughing yoga in the park with locals.More
I hadn’t riden a bicycle in years. Yet we were excited by this tour and wanted to go for it. It was chilly at 6.30am on 1 Mar2020 at Jaipur. That day it was only the 3 of us- me , my husband and my daughter with our energetic and cheerful guide, Umesh. He first made us comfortable on our bikes and then we started. The next 3 hours were simply toooo good. Travelling in the by lanes, stopping for a hot tea and tasting some scrumptious street food was awesome.More
This was easily my favourite experience during our Rajasthan travels!
When I first got to Jaipur and experienced the chaotic roads, I questioned whether cycling here was going to be a good idea… but the tour is managed so well, and it all takes places in the morning before the shops open at 11, meaning riding through the city is very pleasant.More
I have not rode a bike in over three years and it was not a lot. This experience starts very early in the morning, before the sun and the traffic. Our guide was amazing and so energetic that he had enough energy to keep it fun through the whole morning. We went to a temple ceremony as well as laughing yoga, which I enjoyed being immersed in their culture. We went through a market and got great street food that was very hot when served. As the morning went on there was more and more traffic to maneuver through and it was fun to be in that atmosphere. I greatly enjoyed this company for a bike tour and would do it again!More
We’ve done many a city bike tour and this is by far the best – it immerses you in aspects of Jaipur you’d never otherwise see – sunrise across the Pink City is astonishingly beautiful; joining a badminton game in front of the Albert Hall Museum; visiting the flower market; drinking lassi & masala chai at street stalls; laughing within a circle of locals at Laughing Yoga; visit to the Temple, the marble sculptors, painters and feeding the holy cows. All lead by a charming, smiling ultra marathon runner who brought his sense of joy and fun into a packed 3 hour tour.More
This tour was awesome. We, that is a group of approximately 15 people, absolutely loved it. The tour included many amazing stops such as feeding the holy cows, sipping a lovely cup of tea at Sahu tea shop in the old city, visiting the colourful vegetable and flower market , attending a temple ceremony and enjoying a glass of delicious lassi. We also appreciated having such a wonderful and lovely guide, Umesh, who explained everything so well and who made sure we all felt comfortable. We were all very happy to have had him as our tour guide. Let me finish by saying that we can only very strongly recommend this tour to everyone!More
This tour was the highlight of my trip! This is a fantastic and interactive way to see the city for people of all fitness levels! It is a great opportunity to be immersed into the city’s culture through food, markets, temples and laughing yoga! it wasn’t just a bike ride. I highly recommend it!More
THE BEST EXPERIENCE WE HAD ON OUR 10 DAY TRIP! The whole thing was brilliant fun from start to finish! We cycled Jaipur at sunrise, with THE MOST brilliant guide… we did laughing yoga, (hilarious) ate wonderful street food and went to the most sensational temple, a wonderful market and fed a cow… all before 9am! THANKYOU FOR SUCH A BRILLIANT EXPERIENCE! 👍More
We did two trips with LeTourdeIndia in Jaipur and they were both real highlights of our time in Rajasthan.
First we did the Morning Tour with Umesh. It was an early start but well worth it to be able to ride around the city before there was too much traffic. The tour included two experiences I will never forget. First we visited a park where Umesh introduced us to a group of gentlemen who practised laughing yoga every morning. Before we knew it we were in the “laughter ring” and starting the day differently to any I have done before! Then we headed to a large Hindu temple to catch the last 10 minutes of the morning service there. The place was packed out, and hearing the singing and chanting of 500-odd people was a real joy and quite moving. We also visited various markets had some great food and lassis . To be honest, there wasn’t a huge amount of cycling, but we saw and experienced a lot and Umesh was a very informative and enthusiastic guide.More
This was a brilliant tour on a bicycle at sunrise in Jaipur with really outstanding tourleaders. The highlight for us was being with such lovely friendly guides who were very knowledgable and personable and looked out for our safety throughout. The tour takes in such a lot – and all of it is a surprise. What was particularly great was the diversity of sites and experiences that were included in the tour. Our favourite parts were the laughing yoga, joining in with Hindu morning prayer at a temple and sampling snacks on the street and wonderful chai and lassi (the best we had in India). More
We are a retired Australian couple (69 & 70) who signed up for this tour via GAdventures before leaving Australia. After seeing Indian traffic we wondered if we would manage but the early morning start and expert guidance by Umesh and his assistant ensured that we felt safe throughout the experience, even when the traffic was getting busy. We enjoyed it all, from feeding the cow for good karma to chai and breakfast samosas on the street.More
It was absolutely worth it to wake up early to go for the sunrise bike tour. We had such a great time! Especially our guide Khushal was fantastic. The tour was full of information and Khushal has a great sense of humor. We loved it. If you have the chance: do it!More
Umesh was a fantastic guide, full of energy and knowledge. One of the best things we did during our time in India. The tour was an early start but this was great because we got to do so much and see and do things we might have done if not. the tour started by feeding cows to bless our day, we then cycled through the quiet streets (yes I did say quiet as it was early!), played badminton in the street with locals, stopped off at interesting places which Umesh explained all about, did laughing yoga in the park with locals which was so much fun, experienced morning prayers at a temple, visited food markets, tasted street food and finished the tour drinking traditional masala chi tea on the rooftops overlooking the streets. This tour is not to be missed!More
Omesh delivers. He gets you off to an early fast start and you are on a whirlwind 3 hr tour of the local sites and people of Janipur. The positive reviews below are all right on. Omesh does make this 3 hour bike tour the highlight of your trip. No where else in our travels of Indias or Nepal on this trip did you feel more in touch with local life al beit for a brief time experience. Don’t pass on this opportunity if you are in Jaipur. Do it!! Thanks Omesh.More
Umesh is a wonderful guide. His biketour is in my top experiences of India, and I’ve been traveling the country for 2 months. The morning bike ride shows jaipur in a way difficult to see for a nonlocal. It’s jam-packed with activities, stories, delicious streetfood and beautiful sights. Definite recommendation, even with the high price.More
Perfect tour of charming Jaipur. Was a bit worried about the crazy traffic but as we started early in the morning the streets were quiet. The tour made you get an insight into life in the city, loved the laughing yoga, food stops and Hindu temple. Worth every penny (or rupee!)More
Our guide, Umesh, told us that the bicycle tour would be the highlight of our trip to India and he was right! I was looking for a tour of Jaipur that wouldn’t be just your typical tour by car of popular tourist attractions punctuated by the “unscheduled tourist diversion” to some shop or other where you’re pressured to buy something. When I booked this tour, it looked like a likely option but as we are two middle aged ladies traveling alone, who are not Olympics-level physical specimens, I was somewhat intimidated.More
What a fabulous way to see the city, a great balance of cycling, activities and eating! Highly recommend these guys. They were great communicators, fun and knowledgeable. Best guides i’ve had in India.More
This tour was a highlight of my three week stay in Jaipur. It was so nice to see some of the real life of this city and not just tourist spots. The tour company was amazingly accommodating and even arranged a tuk tuk with a second guide for my friend who doesn’t ride bicycles. Umesh has so much energy and makes a wonderful host, explaining not just what you’re seeing but why you’re seeing it as well. If you’re on the fence, let me help- book this tour. You won’t regret it.More
What an amazing experience with Archit in Jaipur, a mix between street food tasting, architecture history and people meeting ! One also has the possibility to experience yoga and enjoy morning temple prayers where one gets to feel the positive energy that reigns there ! If someone wants to experience Jaipur properly, we do recommend to book it as you will get the best that the pink city has to offer !More
Umesh and I started at 6:30 am. We stopped to feed cows for good karma as the sun rose lighting up a cloud-filled sunrise. We cycled and he pointed out the sights. Hurried to do laughing yoga in a circle with the locals. Then hustled to participate in a huge clapping, chanting religious ceremony. Stopped for snacks and tea. Weaved our way through the local market. More
You don’t have to be a top cyclist, just follow the leader and be immersed in Jaipur. The educational element was imparted with huge enthusiasm by our guide who made this our outstanding memory of the city. We talked about all the things that you should avoid…..like religion, politics, arranged marriages and even the structure of the government medical system!More
You’ll never get a closer look Into the cultural life of ”the Pink City”. You won’t get the chance to interact as spontanesly and close with the locals through any other company -and most likely you wouldn’t participate in the buzzling traffic biking around as though you where a local.
Our bicycle tour skipper Umesh was absolutely brilliant, humouristic, knowledgeable and brought us to all from feeding the cows and laughing yoga, to an amazing Hindu temple prayer ceremony and so much more.More
This was an excellent bike tour of Jaipur. I loved every minute. Archit and Umesh our guides were great! I was with a friend who loved the cycling, but as someone who has failed to learn to ride a bike!🥴 it was arranged for me to join the tour in a tuk tuk driven by the lovely Jolly Ji. Our tour was packed with the best things to do in Jaipur and I really liked being shown around an ancient haveli by Archit. True to his word, Archit has since sent us info on things happening in and around Jaipur during our stay. This is much appreciated.More
At the beginning of the tour when our guide said he will make this the highlight of our India trip I thought ‘Sure, sure I’ve heard this before’.
But it sure was my highlight and I was blown away, this is a tour I will remember forever.More
I was in two minds whether to do this as was quite tired from very long days travelling. But I am SO glad I did it- Definitely worth the early start. Omesh was AMAZING and a real asset. His upbeat, funny and welcoming attitude really made the experience. It was wonderful to cycle through the quite dark streets and see the (usually very busy) city wake up. We went to all the best spots for refreshments along the way- A famous chai shop (the best I tasted in the 3 months I was in India!)More
I had the most amazing experience doing this cycling tour, it was worth the very early start. We met at 6.30 am & the tour guides took care to find bikes that were suitable & comfortable for us. We began by feeding the cows to give us ‘good karma’ for the day, we cycled onto Ajmeri gate just as the sun was rising & the street traders were setting out their spices. More
This was way better than I had expected. Our tour guide was a rockstar. Pedaling through the empty streets, seeing the markets opening, having chai with the locals and watching the sun rise. Your get a one of a kind experience behind the wheel, weaving through traffic and the narrow alleys. U highly recommend this tour.More
This tour was a little Gem and my favourite thing from our 3 weeks in India. You see and do so much in the 3 hours, all at a leisurely pace. Hidden back street history and many things you would not see or do otherwise. I’m not going to list them as some were a surprise to us and it was nice that way, but if you read other reviews then you will get the idea.More
We LOVED spending the morning with our incredible guide Archie. He lead us in a sunrise bike tour through the streets of Jaipur!! It was a morning filled with several delightful stops. Sugary sweet chai at a shop that has a long family lineage. Laughter Yoga with area locals at a city park. Morning services at the local Hindu temple. A trip through the wholesale veggie + flower markets — and finally, a stop to enjoy a yogurt probiotic. My friend Tracey and I decided we need to start EVERY morning with a Laughter Yoga practice!!More
Absolutely fantastic i sight into the daily life of Jaipur. See parts of city most tourists never see- feeding cows, chai from best chai in city, marble artists, havelli tour, take part in Hindu service , markets and laughing yoga in park. Best tour so far- thanks ‘Archie’ and his colleague who kept us safe!More
If you get the opportunity to do this bike tour jump on it. The guide was so enthusiastic and passionate about the sites! He was fun and energetic.More
We love doing bike tours to see a place in a new way, and this tour was one of the best we’ve ever done. The entire team was so positive from the first moment in the pre-dawn darkness when we tried to figure out a bike that would fit our 9 year old daughter. While the driving in India seemed crazy, we felt more confident on this trip with our 9 and 11 year olds because there was a guide in front and in the back, and the tour starts when the streets are mostly empty. More
On our early morning bike ride with Umesh we got to see the less touristic side of Jaipur. Expect a fast paced tour through the streets of the city with some interesting local activities. Highly recommend if you are looking for an adventure off the beaten track.More
The morning bike tour with Umesh was one of the best things we did in India!
It was a 6am start and this was such an amazing time to cycle through the streets of Jaipur.
We fed cows, played badminton (in the middle of the road!), tasted the best chai, had delicious lassis, enjoyed laughing yoga in the park and went to the flower market and vegetable market. What an awesome experience!More
We did I this tour with 4 teen and they loved it!!!
We did things that we would have never done if it wasn’t for this tour it made see Jaipur in a fun wayMore
The morning bike tour is a great little adventure and an amazing way to see the city come to life. Everything about the tour was perfect: the food and drinks that were served, the guidance (this is 100% safe), the enthusiasm with which the guides pump you up, and the two little activities (no spoilers!). They are very knowledgeable and very happy to answer all of your questions! Must do if you’re in Jaipur!More
This is a must do tour to see Jaipur waking up on a normal day. The tour starts early and with a stop to feed the sacred cows and a quick visit to a chai tea shop on the side of the road. This was a delicacy to many local celebrities of the city and is a good hit to start your bike ride.More
Just incredible. The best activity of jaipur!
Full of sorprises, the best way to get into the indian culture, learn about local food, rituals, watching the sunrise and biking the still quite city until it starts to awakes.
If you are visiting jaipur this is a MUST.
Thanks for the amazing experience!!!More
I absolutely loved this tour.. It’s authentic and exciting! I think it captures a lot of what India is about.. the food, temples, the arts, gods, markets, beautiful buildings and people and the traffic.. which is really ok as the tour has an early start. We have done sooo much in 3 hours. Umesh and his team have an amazing energy and are super helpful! An absolute must if you visit Jaipur.More
Arjie was a great guide with genuine passion for Jaipur, its architecture and origins and its way of life. All the parts to this tour were well thought of to enhance our enjoyment and experience.More
On my fourth trip to Jaipur, I decided to take the morning bike tour. I love cycling wherever I go – it’s a great way to experience a city and I looked forward to experiencing Jaipur that way.
Though I’ve been to Jaipur many times before, nearly everything on the trip was new and unexpected for me. There was an excellent balance of time spent on the bike and on foot wandering the city, experiencing places like markets and temples. More
Umesh was a fantastic tour guide. You could tell he lived in the city for many years because he took us to many unique and authentic food spots.
The timing was cool because we saw the sunrise during the 3 hours. The biking provided great exercise and a nice break from car/bus tours.More
What an experience! To think in less than 2 hours after finishing the roads are so busy you can barely walk let alone bike road, it was a great opportunity to experience dawn in Jaipur to see all the sites, sounds and people of this amazing city.More
I spent 8 days in the Delhi- Agra- Jaipur region. This was THE BEST part of my trip. The guide was amazing! It was very authentic with stops at local markets and at safe street food vendors. We also had a little recreational time with locals. Do this tour!!!!More
Myself and a friend have recently spent two weeks in India with G Adventures. Our G Adventures guide told us about the bike tour in Jaipur. We were so happy that we did the bike tour. Our bike guide, Umesh gave us a brilliant and alternative view of the city and its people. From our sunrise tea stop to early morning laughing yoga near the temple. It was a fantastic experience and I would highly recommend anyone to do the tour. We spent a fantastic two weeks in India but the bike tour of Jaipur was the highlight of our trip.More
Words can’t begin to describe how good this early morning bike tour of Jaipur was but here’s a few….pink helmets – safety first; cows fed – good karma; local badminton – India wins; chai drunk – body warmed; laughing yoga – still laughing; Hindu temple – early prayers; fruit market – lovely ladies; potato fritters – hot and fresh; marble workshop – craftsmen; lassi drunk – complete refreshment. Thanks Umesh!More
We completed this activity as part of the G Adventures tour. Umeesh and his team provided a brilliant experience. We learned so much about Indian culture and every day Life led by Umeesh’s positive energy and enthusiasm. It was an unforgettable morning and memories that will last forever.More
I took this tour on my last day of a 6d5n tour of Delhi – Agra- Jaipur organised by another agency. I must say that this cycling tour gave me more info on Jaipur in the 3 hrs compared to the guides in the other agency for longer periods. Cycling through areas that a car would have difficulty to go through, great street food and beverage stops plus fun activities such as yoga, badminton, feeding the cows, birds, going through the vegetable n flower market. More
This is a great tour that provides genuinely authentic experiences that you would not find on your own.
Top quality bikes, safe riding conditions (tour ends prior to the chaotic traffic conditions), street food stops, temple visit (with explanation of the rituals), and most importantly an enthusiastic and entertain guide that exposes you to life in Jaipur.More
Had a cycling morning in Jaipur and enjoyed every bit of it…
Within that short time span we’ve had the opportunity to see sooo much.
Defo the best cycling tour I’ve had, before Jaipur wakes up!
The guide was a passionate and shown us all the small gems of Jaipur.
Everything is on the clock and be ready to be thrown all Jaipur to your eyes, ears, and belly… 🙂 Very good tour.More
I did this morning cycling tour of Jaipur only yesterday, and it is still on my mind. Not only do you get to see the sights of Jaipur by bike, but this tour leads an interactive cultural experience for everyone. I’m talking yoga with the locals, visiting the markets, a morning Chai to warm you up, and feasting on some local delicacies with a Lasi to top it off! I haven’t even listed everything we did, but don’t hesitate to join in on the fun, you won’t regret it. Thanks to Umesh and the team for making this the most fun I’ve had on my holiday to India!More
I had absolutely zero expectations for this tour. I have done many cycle tours across the world. Without a doubt, this one was my absolute best!! What an authentic and incredible experience. I genuinely feel like I (and the rest of my tour group) lived a full Indian experience in three hours. Including amazing food (chai, samosas) and the real Indian lifestyle and culture, including a Hindu temple experience and laughing yoga with the locals. This tour is more than just cycling for three hours. You really do get to see and experience such wonderful aspects of Indian life!More
I just went on this tour a few days ago while in Jaipur and it was the highlight of my entire India trip! I spent 8 days in India yet when I came home the FIRST thing I told family and friends was about this morning bicycle tour. I had Umesh as my guide and he was absolutely fantastic. I cannot thank him and encourage him enough for his enthusiasm and professionalism on this tour. I saw so many things and feel I truly got the insider’s look on Jaipur. The BEST part was “laughing yoga”. I can’t even begin to explain how special it was. I will recommend Umesh and Le Tour De India to all of my clients, family and friends!More
We did many things while in Jaipur, but this was hands-down our favorite! Umesh was a kind, knowledgeable and super fun guide from start to finish. Hard to pick what I loved most, as it was all great, but here goes… biking before the sun came up on the calm, quiet streets you would never see otherwise; the amazing chaos of the vegetable/flower market; an energizing and smile-inducing laughing yoga session with the happiest group of people on earth; the raw power of a large temple in full prayer/chant/music; and then ending with a crazy bike ride back through an awoken city and traffic in full swing – all the while learning so much. I highly recommend this tour. THANK YOU, Umesh!!More
A very pleasant bike ride in Jaipur, seeing the city gradually wake up on a cold dark morning to become the crazy and busy place it is in the light of day. Valan was an engaging guide and Priya an excellent supporting guide. Valan says that he moved from the UK at the age of 15 – I don’t know how anyone could do that – but that notwithstanding, he was the most relatable guide I’ve had in India so far. There were 2 other people in my group, both Australians as well, who were great company.
The tour worked surprisingly well, with two guides and a support man for the 3 of us. The route was well chosen and I didn’t feel like I was going to become roadkill. The stops such as morning vespers (well, the hindu equivalent) and the flower and fruit makers were also an enjoyable change of pace from monument hopping.More
Khushal took us on a well choreographed itinerary, with lots of opportunity to see a different side of Jaipur and some enjoy delicious eats! Very easy to ride bikes.More
Absolutely brilliant! Got to see the real Jaipur and the amazing community spirit here. Would definitely recommend!!More
We had wonderful time cycling around Jaipur with Umesh and Trilok. Thanks for the hospitality and gesture. Keep it up.
Special Mention: Umesh is very informative and knowledgeable.More
This is a must do for any traveler visiting Jaipur! .. We woke up early , and got to experience biking through the city before the sun and city were even awake. Our guide , Omesh was amazing! He showed us all of the local spots to stop in the city — we got to feed the cows, walk through a local bustling market, stop for tea and other street food, attend a temple service, interact with the locals, and much more in 3 hours! This was more than just a biking– but a local experience to learn about the culture of the city. We didn’t stop at the main tourist sites, which was nice – as we felt this was a much more genuine experience, and would definitely recommend ! Great way to start our trip to Jaipur !More
Our first impressions already set the tone for the next three hours. In pre-dawn darkness our two guides Umesch and Trulo (spelling?)were already prepared and waiting for us. The variety and diversity of adventures we encountered stimulated our hearts and minds. Our journey took us through the old center of town experiencing everything from feeding cows before sunrise to enjoying the local delicacies along the way. Our guides were extremely knowledgeable and helpful. It was a memorable experience that we would highly recommend and one of the greater highlight of our visit to indiaMore
This was a great way to start the morning and such a wonderful insight into local daily life. Everyone was so kind and welcoming. Best chai and Lassi I’ve had in India! Umesh was a fantastic guide. You can really tell he loves his job!More

Our guide Umesh made us a simple promise that he would give us an experience we would never forget and I am pleased to say he delivered within the first hour of ride.
We saw the city of Jaipur wake up during a very personal and surprisingly safe ride during which we saw the local people live their religious culture. The care they have for nature in all its forms was obvious from the feeding stations for wild cows roaming the city streets to handing bananas to monkeys to giving seeds to the crows.More
Laughter is the best way to start your day so said our guide Umesh.
You will have so much fun on this bicycle tour of Jaipur which included a session of laughter yoga in the park.
We are a couple in our fifties and not used to riding bikes but we had so much fun and felt privileged to be able see this wonderful city coming to life.More
We booked this tour last minute and it turned out to be a highlight of our visit to Jaipur. Very well organised, informative and such good fun, especially the stop in the park for laughing yoga with the locals. What a way to start the day and worth the early morning wake up. I slipped off my bike whilst stationary, completely my own fault, and the guys were lovely and cleaned up my knee.
Well done Kushal and the team.More
I’ve done a lot of guided tours, both in foot and on two wheels, in India and the morning cycle tour of Jaipur with Le Tour de India is one of the best. Excellent bikes and helmets, and really fabulous guides, who are fun, full of interesting info. The route of the bike tour took me to see things that, despite this being my 7th visit to Jaipur, were completely new to me. I really can’t recommend highly enough. Next visit I’l be sure to do their rural cycle ride.More
This cycle tour was such a treat – exposure to local food, local culture, and surprises around every corner. The cycling itself was a bit stressful, but totally worth it. What a way to see Jaipur!More
This was a brilliant cycle around Jaipur, in which we drank local Chai and Lassi, immersed ourselves in the congregation at a Sikh Gurdwara and saw the sights of Jaipur under our own pedal power. Somewhat different to my usual morning commute by bike!More
Such a great trip with fascinating insight to India the guide had such energy with his back up guys. Bikes were good and the trip felt very safe, gave good tips to keep safe on the bikes.More
An absolute must when visiting Jaipur! Definitely the best way to see the ‘real’ city. Setting off in the dark, we first went to feed the cows, to bring us good fortune. Stopping off to have chai in the oldest chai shop in Jaipur, we saw the sun rise and witnessed the city waking up. Cycling through the back streets, we saw the the local tradespeople opening up their shops, walked through the vibrant fruit, veg and flower marketsMore
Great morning out with Umesh and his brave and trusty assistant who kept us safe and took us to some really interesting places that gave us an alternative view of Jaipur in a fun format. Great value. Thanks Umesh.More
We had the best fun and experienced life long memories on our Le Tour de India morning bike ride of Jaipur.
After getting our bikes we headed off on our adventure – first stop;;

This tour was one of the best activities I did while on my 3 week visit to India and Nepal! Umesh was fabulous and biking was a great way to see the city. While you do need to bike through the city, you don’t need to be an expert biker(or worry about the level of physical activity- it was quite easy) The tour was more of an experiential tour. We went to the morning market- so colorful, did laughing yoga in the park, stopped for some delicious Chai tea and Lassi and went to the temple for morning prayer- among other things– really amazing!More

Oh boy what a trip! When my husband booked it I was fine let’s do it. When he told me we had to be there just before 6 in the morning I was no way. I had such a good time and after the first cup of chai I was wide awake ( and ready for a good laugh)!More
This was great fun, and well worth the early rise. Arti and Pryia (hope I’ve got their names correct) were fabulous guides, and passionate about their city.

The morning bike tour through Jaipur is amazing. We lived many different and exiting experiences, all of them unforgettable. Umesh & Khah were the best possible guides, making us feel safe at all times. The bikes were in perfect shape.
I’m not gonna describe everything we did, as it’s better to discover it on the tour!
I recommend it 100%!!More
The early morning bike tour through Jaipur was full of memorable sights, sound, tastes and people. From sipping morning chai to feeding community cows, joining a laughing yoga group and being in the middle of a busy temple ceremony it was truly unforgettable. Umesh and Khush were not only wonderful guides but great fun to be with. This cycle was highlight of our trip to Jaipur.More
8 of our group took this tour as an add on extra to our GAdventure Essential India tour, whilst visiting Jaipur on 1st August. For me this was one of the best things I did in the 2 week holiday and was well worth the early morning (5.30am) start. Umesh was a highly entertaining and knowledgeable guide. The tour included feeding the street cows, a trip to see Prince Albert museum building and The Wind Palace, a visit to the fruit and veg and flower market, drinking Masala chai, laughing yoga in the park with locals, taking part in the early morning prayer ceremony to Lord Vishnu, eating pakoras on a roof top, visiting marble sculptures at work and finally drinking Lassi from the best Lassi shop in Jaipur.More
We booked the Tour as part of a guided trip throgh India and realized soon, that the tour was THE highlight of our trip – although we visited Taj Mahal and many other cultural sites. The Tour was a mix of information, culture, fun, sports, nice people and stunning activities! The guides are just great and provide a great tour.More
Make the effort to get out of your bed early for the Jaipur morning cycle tour, you won’t be disappointed.
The simplicity of this tour is what makes it so special. You get to see the city as it wakes and immerse yourself in the real Jaipur.More
The sunrise bike tour was a wonderful way to see the city. We had a personalised tour as our main group tour started at 8am. They provided two guides to ride in front of and behind me – Archie and Tri and we felt very safe on the roads with my teen daughter. Many great stops from feeding the cows, a chai vendor, laughing you in the park, the real markets, to energetic singing in the temple and of course the many Jaipur sights. More
We did the 3 hour cycle tour of Jaipur and it was wonderful! The guides were so knowledgeable and kept us safe on the busy roads of Jaipur. They taught us lots about the history and culture and took us to the markets, laughing yoga and to a Hindu temple. Great morning well spent and would do it again.More
The sunrise bike tour was a wonderful way to see the city as it wakes up, while the weather is still cool! I was able to arrange a private tour as I was traveling solo, and they provided two guides to ride in front of and behind me – I felt very safe in the crowded streets! Great stops at hidden temples, a chai vendor, and of course Jaipur sights. My guides were very accommodating, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!More
Really fantastic cycle tour. Do not be put off because you think cycling in the heat will be bad, we went at 5:30am and we didn’t get too hot at any time. Flat roads and very little traffic that early. Tour leader was awesome. Great english, smart, funny, knowledgeable. Showed us a wide variety of really interesting local sights, and explained what we were seeing and doing. Can’t recommend them highly enough. An absolute must do if you are in the city.More
Much more than just a bike tour, we stopped a lot to see different parts of the city and Indian culture, including laughing yoga in the park. Umesh was a great guide and we were never pushed towards buying anything, this is one of the best tours I’ve been on.More
My boyfriend and I have been travelling for 8 months and this is honestly one of the best tours we have done. It was so varied in that we cycled around the streets taking in the sights and trying local chai and lassi which was delicious. We also loved the yoga in the park. It was a very varied tour and Umesh was very knowledgeable and engaging. I would reccomend this as a must do if you visit Jaipur.More
Bicycle Tour in Jaipur
This was more than just a bicycle tour it was an intimate disclosure of why this medieval city was a “light” in the ancient East! The team was both enthusiastic and enchanting as they filled our morning with surprises which I won’t share (must see yourself). The tour ended with us yearning for more given that this city had stolen a piece of our hearts! source
The hidden wonders of Jaipur
The bike tour with Umesh was simply amazing, my friends and I stayed in Jaipur for three days and visited the main things in the first two. However, my Jaipur experience wouldn’t have been the same if I had missed this morning bike tour. Umesh gave us a new perspective of the city, showed us some hidden and beautiful places, where local workers follow their daily lives. More

One of the more fun things my girlfriend and I have done in India. Our guide Umesh was very friendly and knowledgeable about Jaipur, and I never once felt nervous following him through the streets, be they back alleys or main roads. You’ll taste some great chai and lassi, laugh, stretch, clap, chant, and sway with the locals, and walk through the dazzling flower and vegetable markets all more or less before the sun comes up. Highly recommended!More
I cannot ride a bike! However, that didn’t matter on this bike ride as I rode on a tandem bike with Kush from Le Tour De India. I just sat back and enjoyed the ride, though I didn’t exactly burn calories doing it. We stopped at laughing yoge, Krishna temple, hawa mahal, and a flower/vegetable market (the best part). We sampled some food and enjoyed the commentary along the way. It was a wonderful way to see the city. Thank you!More
The highlight of our stay in Jaipur ! Starting bright and early to discover the wonders and delicacies of Jaipur ! The team is very good to drive us through the old town and make sure we are safe on our bike. It was just my boyfriend and I with Archit, and architecture student who shared his knowledge on Jaipur with us, meeting with other parts of the group when having the most delicious Chai of our trip in Rajastan, lovely Pakoras and more surprises ! Genuinely loved it !More
We spent a lovely 3 hours riding round Jaipur looking at all of the sitea and having a wonderful experience. Chai Masala from the best shop in town, a walk through the vibrant vegetable market, joining the locals in the park for laughing yoga. Then some of the best pakora ever.More
Fantastic tour and highly accommodating! Myself and one other person from my tour group was not confident cyclists, but they provided both a tandem bike for one of us, and an auto rickshaw with a female driver for the other so we could still see all the highlights and be involved in this cycling tour whilst feeling safe!More
The best thing I did in India !!!
I absolutely loved this. This is a world away fighting your way through crowds of tourists at Amber Fort. You get to see how the world wakes up in Jaipur. We fed the cows, drunk chai, took part in a laughing yoga class, ate pakora on the rooftop, visited flower markets, vegetable markets etc etc etc. The guys were fantastic. A must do on your visit to Jaipur. Thank you all. More

This was so much fun, I loved it so much, it was one of the highlights of my holiday! The bikes were very good and helmets were provided. Khush our guide was absolutely fantastic and so much fun. We stopped regularly for Masala chai tea and a Lassie at the end – all delicious! And the experiences such as the laughing yoga we joined, the Hindu temple and the colours and people in the market, are all things I’ll remember and cherish for a long time to come!More
I Cycled around central Jaipur with Usomething mesh and a very friendly English couple. The experience of cycling through the city early morning guided expertly in the still light traffic is an absolute joy. What is more, the tour takes you around the real local life and you get to see, feel, touch, hear, smell and taste Jaipur (and laugh and clap, but about that I won’t say any more except that it’s as thrilling and authentic as the rest).More

We were a little apprehensive about riding a bike in an Indian city trafficbut our early departure made for less hectic tour. We absolutely loved everything including the tea, lassie, and street bites. Participating in the local happy yoga and the temple service was both invigorating and fun. The enthusiasm of our guides Umesh and Kushan was infectious as they led us through the morning markets and the hidden gems of history. Thanks for an awesome morningMore
A Perfect way to discover indian culture
Enjoyed the laughing yoga class
Umesh a very kind and dynamic guide

We took the morning bike ride through Jaipur with Umesh. This was a great experience and we wouldn’t have seen this side of the culture without the bike tour. We had already seen the main tourist sites previously, so it was fun to learn more about the culture and Umesh was very informative. I was a little nervous about riding in traffic but I felt very safe.More
We do lots of cycling tours on holidays as we see at least 3 times more than walking. Due to the charisma and enthusiasm of our guide we really enjoyed this one. A 6.30 start(!) and quite a short tour but included stops for usual sights plus: best chai in the city, good lassi, fresh samosa and the 8.00am Hindu service in which we were welcomed as participants being the highlight. Thanks La Tour de India.More
We had originally scheduled the morning Jaipur bike tour, but one of our members became ill and we were not able to make it. Although we had to cancel, Khush was in regular contact to make sure all was fine, and offered his assistance if we needed it. He also got in touch to let us know that there would be a tour passing right by our hotel a couple days later, and they would bring bikes for us if we wanted to participate. More
I love India, cycling and food. And this cycle tour certainly covered all 3! We had a spectacular time on the morning 3 hr tour with my son who is 9 yrs old. He went on the tandem bike which was fantastic and much safer. We got to experience Jaipur in all its glory, certainly seeing and experiencing things tourists don’t get to see. More
Exploring the city of Jaipur in the quiet hours of dawn on a bicycle is hands down one of the most relaxing ways to experience this otherwise bustling city. Our guides Umesh and Kushal were excellent. Being novice riders, we initially had reservations about the tour, but those were to put to bed by our guides who made the entire experience very comfortable right from the offset. More
So I and some of my companions had not been on a bike in ages, but do not let that deter you from this amazing way to see Jaipur. It is worth getting up early for! Trust me, I am not a morning person. There were some great stops where we sampled some tasty treats and I had the best masala chai and lassi of the entire trip on this tour. We also visited a Krishna temple that was such an uplifting and uniting experience. This tour was one of my favorite parts of my trip to India. Our tour guide Khush (which means happy, and he was!) was fantastic. I would highly recommend!More
After spending four days in Jaipur, cycling with Nick on my final morning was a highlight of my trip. Starting at 6:30 when the city is dark and quiet (er), I was guided through the main roads and alleys learning about the history and contemporary life in Jaipur. The tour is stop-start as there are stops at markets, temples, tea places, famous landmarks and traditional eateries.More
Just got round to writing this review of a bike tour we took in November with Le Tour De India. What an incredible experience we had, can’t thank Khush and his team enough for such a wonderful morning. We wanted to combine two bikes tours in one taking in the village bike tour as well as including some uphill riding to give us a work out. Khush made the whole experience a pleasure. He even surprised us with a cake for my husband’s birthday.More
3 Hour Morning Bike Tour of Jaipur
We had a fantastic time on the bike tour this morning! In the early morning hours the streets and monuments are less crowded and you can experience the city in a much different way. On the tour we enjoyed local experiences like enjoying masala chai, lassi, pakoras, sweet and savory snacks, going to Govind Dev Ji temple and viewing local homes. More
We had a great experience with Nikhil. He took us to some hidden places we would have never seen by ourselves. Even though we were in Jaipur for 3 days already and did a lot of sightseeing ourselves, the tour was very surprising. It is highly recommended to do this tour and see & taste the real Jaipur!More
This was an awesome change of pace to see ACTUAL Indian culture in action. You go through the backalleys of the town and see the city waking up. This was the best part of my Jaipur trip…..definitely the best way to understand current Indian culture in a casual setting. Highly recommendMore
I can’t recommend this tour enough. It is a highlight and if you can only do one tour of the old city this is it. You get to see the city wake up and get ready for the day, sample local specialities and see places you would never otherwise. India is hot so to start at 6.30 am is perfect. Our guides were friendly and fun and particular in looking after us. I would do it again if I’m lucky enough to return to Jaipur.
A bit thankyou to the Team.More

This was the highlight of my trip to Jaipur!! If you have a short time here or even if you just need to get acquainted with the city you will not be disappointed. Seriously. My guide was Archit. He was so lovely and kind. I am a woman traveling alone and I felt completely safe. I got a nice understanding of the city layout and some history as well. It was really nice starting early before all the chaos and traffic begins. You will get to see it unfold. A highlight for me was the visit to the temple. More

Best bike tour in India
This was, by far, the best tour we took in India. Our guide, Umesh, was very engaging and took us to some non-touristy places in Jaipur that we wouldn’t have discovered on our own, including the flower market and a temple to experience a morning gathering with tremendous energy. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Jaipur. Source

I was recommended Tour de India’s Jaipur morning bike tour by a friend, and I am so glad I followed her suggestion! As a solo female traveller it can be hard at times to experience the “real” India, as I don’t always feel comfortable getting lost while wandering unfamiliar streets on my own. More

Bike tours are all the same. But not this one! Umessh and Khush are two of a kind! Riding a bike in Jaipur, in the morning is something EVERYONE should do. And should do with those two guys. They are no guides. They are friends showing you their town. Forget about the 3 hours. This should be a whole day experience. And in the end, you’ll have two new friends for life!More
Umesh and Khush were amazing – we biked through back alleyways seeing a different side of Jaipur. The temple visit was spectacular and definitely worth spending a morning.More

We started early so avoided the traffic chaos and heat, and the ride was well-supported with an extra guide to mind the bikes while Archit introduced us to his city’s best lassi, chai, snacks, the fragrant flower markets, the temple near the royal palace and other wonderful features of Jaipur. My Partner Sara and I went on an early morning bike ride with Umesh and we were absolutely thrilled – especially as we were pondering the merits of getting up that early! Umesh rode at the very front and his assistant brought up the rear – very very safe in a city that’s constantly tooting their car horns! We visited a church for an early religious festival start to the day, followed by eating some street food after shopping in the market. My abiding memory is of when we all went to rooftop; just sipping a pleasant cup of local tea – bliss.More
Umesh and his team were fabulous. Our bike ride through Jaipur was one of the highlights of our time in the Pink City. Umesh has all of the qualities of the perfect tour guide: He’s knowledgable, personable, funny, a great communicator, a joy to be with and of course safe. I only wish our itinerary had allowed us to do more excursions with him.More
Best time to see the city without all the traffic congestion and beeping that happens. This was one of the best experiences we had during our family tour of India. Early start meant not too much traffic and we were well looked after by the 2 guides. Stops for Lassi, fried sweets and chai were all great, and we joined a early morning Hindu service which was eye-opening. Visit to the flower market was spectacular. This trip shows you sights that you would not easily find in a memorable way. My family – kids 14, 12 and 11 all loved it.More

Early morning by bike — this was THE high point of our visit to Jaipur!
We booked this morning bike tour as part of a larger 2-wk tour of Rajasthan. The larger tour emphasized monuments, forts, tombs and temples. But on THIS tour-by-bike, OMG, the city was brought to life! My husband and I were the only folks on the tour that day, and Khushal, the owner of the bike tour, and his 2 colleagues were clearly intent on making sure we had a wonderful time, in a very personalized way. Felt like friends! They were funny, good-humored, and looked out for us every step of the way. more
