Early morning after breakfast, take a short walk to the architecturally rich old city of Delhi, Visit the Jama Masjid and take a Rickshaw tour of old Delhi and get a chance to see the hustle of Delhi and also visit the Sikh temple, Chawri bazaar, parantha wali gali, the narrow and charming lanes of ChandniChowk old city, KhariBoali the whole-sale spice Market. After a few hours of cycling we reach Kumbalgarh, a pinnacle fort on the high hills of the Aravali Range. Check into your hotel to relax your cycling muscles and after lunch venture out for guided walk of the Kumbalgarh Fort followed by the light and sound show telling the stories about the bravery and valor of the warrior clans of Kumbalgarh. The geometric step pattern gives fascinating and surprising experience to the tourists. Wow!!!! What an incredible 12-day journey cycling through Rajasthan!
Le Tour de India is like no other! We felt we experienced authentic India; rich in culture, amazing architecture and landscapes, vibrant colors and beautiful connections with people.
The cycling:
Our guides and drivers were so accommodating if we wished to cycle further or finish earlier. The mountain bikes were Straken brand, there was a bit of tweaking to get these on the road but they did the job. The accompanying vehicle was always well-stocked with drinks, fresh fruit, and snacks…more
